Hey guys. Im from BC canada. Im pretty new at building computers. Learned most of what i know from Linus, Paul, Jay, and Kyle. Im not a huge gamer but i do need a good computer so im building a good one! Itll be my first time building a computer so itll be fun. I am just waiting on my graphics card to show up so i can do a test and hopefully put everything together without needing to exchange anythingXD 

My Pc will be as follows:
Ryzen 5 1500x 
stock cooler (getting ML240 rgb AIO)
GTX 1060 6gb  EVGA
8gb 2400 ddr4 ram (will upgrade to 32 over time)
asrock ab350 pro4 Mobo
Nzxt s340 elite white
EVGA 450w bronze 80+ fully modular 
240gb pny ssd (gonna add 525gb m.2 from crucial)
I will be buying modded cables from mainframe. 
Its gonna be a white and purple build. 
 

Im tempted to get the asus vg248qe because its onsale right now... but 300 bucks and I dont even have much storage or ram, and im gonna be running stock cooling sooooooo ill use the asus vp228 that  got for xmas

Im way too excited to do this and i just wanna start already... i should of just gotten the graphics card from newegg for an extra 40 bucks and i woulda had it by nowXD. ohwell im trying to save money and still build a good rig thatll last me atleast 2-4x as long as a 300$ laptop does

Welcome to the forum! What part of BC? I can't wait until I move back to the coast.

Your build looks really solid. I wouldn't be in too much of a hurry to upgrade to 32GB, there's very few instances where it's needed. What and purple's a pretty unique color combo! Where will the purple come into play?

I'm up north, Nothing like the coast hahahahaha. Thanks a lot man. I have put a lot of thought into picking my parts to try and making it as best as i can.  I'm in no hurry to upgrade the ram either. 8gb Is more then enough for what i'm gonna be doing. The purple is gonna mainly be any RGB in the case along with all the cables. Im getting thumbscrews, cables, screws, aio sleeves and whatever other misc purple things i can find on mainframe. I also plan on painting things after warranties are up. I honestly don't have much need for mass storage right now. The 765gb of storage ill have will be good for me for at least a year.

Did you already buy the case? NZXT makes a white and purple H440 and I think it's on sale right now. Though, personally I find the TG side of the Elite a lot sexier. Haha, I thought the same and my drives filled up awfully fast. Games are huge these days.

I'm really fighting with myself on the whole liquid cooling or 144hz gaming monitor I know you can overclock a bit with the stock cooler for the Ryzen but not anything big. and i know this 21.5 inch monitor with 60hz refresh rate probably wont have the 1ms response time it says it has. and the monitor is 100 bucks off.. hmmmmmmm

I do have the case. I seen that case but i didnt like that window, the TG got me too, and the HDMI port up front of the case for when i get a vive. its a beaut forsure!
