What socket to buy?

I am looking for a new moterboard. I was wondering if i should buy a socket 2011 or a cheaper 1355.

What are the benefits? I am on a budget so i am looking for valual for money!

Also on an 1335 I could buy an K series on the 2011 i can't!

Please help me!

I would say 1155 if you absolutely cannot wait for 1150. With 2011 and an extreme series processor, the real world performance boost in games would be miniscule for the absurd price you would be paying.

If you want to save even more money, you could consider AM3+ over LGA 1155 or 1150.

It would help a lot to know what you use your computer for, generally.
