Does anyone know if it’s possible to turn my former AC68P by ASUS into a mesh network with my new AC88U? Currently, we have the main router as 1 network and it decides what band you go on, but our older router doesn’t have that, and I’d like 1 WiFi throughout the whole house. Does anyone know how this is possible?

Not into a mesh network but you could set one into AP mode, connect it to the other, and have them both broadcast the same SSID. It wouldn't give you nice handoffs when switching between them though.
