My microphone isn't working, apparently. Calling someone on Discord and they said they couldn't hear me. Is this a problem with Discord, or a problem with my mic since I'm on Windows 10?

Is your input set to your microphone? Does it show up in sound settings?

Doesn't Discord have some kind of mic test in it's settings to see if your mic is working properly ?

What do you mean? I'm a new Windows 10 user, so I'm a noob ;-;

Search 'sound' after pressing the windows button. under the recording tab, does your mic show up? (may have to right click and select show disconnected devices)

Modify settings in discord to use your microphone then.

I've had this same problem too, recently. I use same exact headphones, but people complain they can barely hear me on discord and sometimes they don't hear me at all.
