Star Citizen Hangar Module Patch 9

For those of you who enjoy constantly running circles around your semi-operative model star ship like I do, a new patch dropped for the hangar module today.

The article explains most of the changes, but here's a quick list of things I've noticed so far:

-Ship equipment loadout changes now persist through logout. Meaning, you can strip everything from your ship and it will stay in your inventory until you reattach it. Does not seem to apply or work properly with missiles yet, they will reattach themselves to empty hardpoints (individual missiles only, not the actual launcher).

-Controls seem significantly smoother, and it's much easier to look around during animations such as climbing into bed or up ladders.

-Some Use commands have been fixed slightly, although this may simply be a consequence of the improved controls.

-A small, 3 shelf trophy case has been added to all hangars. Mine's empty, but for those of you who have earned certain awards or decorations already, they will appear here.

-Lag when switching costumes seems to have vanished (possibly?)

Minor news, but neat non-the-less. It should be noted that I only have the entry-level hangar and an Aurora LN, so there will likely be more changes to different ships or larger hangars.

There is a mod for the hangar module that lets you fly all the ships (and look at them too).

The physics are very wonky since they are still pre-alpha, but still. It's pretty cool to be able to get into the ships and actually fly them. Plus you can see what you are buying before hand as well.

I have the deluxe hanger and from my exploration of things you hit the nail on the head for the other hangers as well. People are going to be angry, but I am sure CIG is killing themselves to get the next hanger module to match the dog fighting module. I am just chomping at the bit to see the Cutlass and Caterpillar in there.
