NZXT Aer RGB Fans, NEED HELP!

Hey all! 

Since this is clearly the place to go when I have foolish questions, I thought I'd stop by.

 

I NEED HELP!

I got a pack of three NZXT's AER RGB fans, and it didn't come with the fan controller (HUE+). I thought there was still a way to get partial RGB features out of the fans without them? If so, how do I install them?

Right now I just have the fans plugged into case fan headers but there's obv more to the equation I reckon. It comes with other cords, which I'm wondering is to power the led strips themselves? 

Does anyone know how to install them without the HUE+ controller? If so, shoot me a reply, I'd greatly appreciate it.

As for the HUE+, their site says:

Quote

HUE+ is required and sold separately.

And for the other cables, Check your motherboard manual for any LED headers, if it is required.
