Yeah, it's a good choice. You won't be able to SLI anything, but it'll work for a future upgrade.

This should be sufficient for this build and any upgrade along a similar gpu line.

Some constructive criticism for the build. At this caliber and price, you might as well go for a 8700k for overclocking. Buuuuuuut, if your dead set on the 1060 6gb and all you are doing is gaming, why not with an i5 which "better matches" the rest of the build. Similarly, if you're dead set on the i7, look toward the 1070 or, gasp, 1070 ti.

Hope this helps.

P.S if you go for the higher gpu or K-series chip, I would look at a 650w and a safety net. My 650 recommendation is the Corsair RXi650.

Spoiler

Intel Core i7 8700k | be quiet! Dark Rock 4 | Fatal1ty Z370 Gaming-ITX/ac | 32 GB G.Skill TridentZ | 256 GB Intel® SSD 600p Series | ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 1080 Ti Mini | Fractal Design Node 304 | Cooler Master V750 | Asus MG279Q | Asus VC279 | Logitech G710+ | Corsair M65 Pro RGB

i took the i7-8700 for future proof.

Edit: i took the Evga g3 550w because of the deal and 4.5 stars review on amazon.ca
