Double check that

1) the PSU is turned on (surprisingly common to forget)

2) recheck all front panel headers (once I accendently used a USB 2.0 header rather than front panel headers)

3) try different dimm slot (cycle through all)

4) double check that the CPU is plugged into/with the CPU cable and not the peripheral or vga cable

5) generally rewire the whole system

I talked to someone yesterday that used the same ram and had the same boot issue on basically the same platform.

I did a boot check before i installed it in the case. Fans and mb lights come on, used a jump to start the md. Cycled through all dimms and checked the CPU power its good. Thank you very much. I dont have more ddr4 ram is there another way to check it.

If the system booted outside the case, then it's probably not the RAM. Now, double check your front panel headers. Without more RAM, there's not much I think you can do on the RAM front. What I'd do is stop by MicroCenter (or similar computer shop), bring the PC, and see if you can test with some DDR4 that they may have.

You said fans and mobo lights come on. That's a boot, is it not? If you're not getting any output, did you plug the monitor into you GPU or your mobo. Ryzen CPUs do not have iGPU's so the motherboard video out will not work
