Windows 7 drive problem

I'm on Windows 7  and I can't connect to the internet. It prompts me with network drive disconnected. Seeing this I tried to remap my network drive and after doing this I still have no connection. My Ethernet is plugged in to my router and pc and the router is function as my phone is connected to the internet. Is my drive mapped wrong or is there a different problem now that the drive is mapped.

the network drive has nothing to do with internet. but if you can access the drive but not the internet this tells me that your network connection seems to work. but maybe something went wrong with the IP, gateway or DNS server adress configuration 

 

 

have you tried turning it off and on again ?

@KenjiUminoI have restarted bot the PC and router and switched Ethernet cables. I have turned off ipv6 protocol and made sure that get it and dns automatically on ipv4 are checked and still nothing.

I have also manually inserted in and dns and reset both through the command prompt as well as connected a WiFi adapter to my pc and still nothing.
