just built a new PC, updated windows, gpu drivers, everythjing was running well. cpu temps were good. randomly it froze. and after 10 seconds or so it was usable again. then while trying to game it would randomly freeze again. how do i figure out what is causing these random freezings.

 

CPU - amd ryzen 1500x

GPU - amd 580  8gb

SSD - for windows 10

500g - for storage

500  - watt psu

case: corsair carbide air 540 motherboard: asus maximus V formula assassin  cpu: intel i7 3770k 3.5ghz cooling: corsair h100  psu: corsair gold ax750w  gpu: amd radeon 7950 3gb  ram: 8gb g.skill sniper  drives: 120gb Samsung 840 ssd, 2tb western digital black

i downloaded MSI live update 6 and let it install, i think it had a MOBO update as well

if not, whats the best way to update a mobo?
