Opinions on my selection of PC components?

festivepopcorn

Hey, I just wanted some opinions some parts I am going to be using for my new build. I originally had a system with an i7-7700, but wanted to do an entire rebuild because it was a disaster(tons of things came DOA and my NZXT AIO leaked). I am deciding on a rebuild with most of the emphasis on aesthetics w/ the 8700k. I saved up enough money since I started my first job (I'm 16). Most of the parts are already purchased.

Here's the PCPartPicker list -

How much of an improvement should I expect with the 8700k? All of the parts are different from my last build, except the GPU, storage, and the peripherals.

I am also a bit confused on the AIO, mainly how the fan configurations work. For example, the Phanteks P400 only supports a front radiator and the other fans I am adding for the case are all exhaust. So, if I do a pull configuration will that mean that the radiator fans become intakes for the whole case as well? Also, will it be worth it to buy EK Vardar fans for the radiator, or no? I am also thinking of buying a delidded 8700k at https://siliconlottery.com, should I bother? Overall, what do you guys think about my selection and do you guys have any other tips? Thanks!

1. Get a 144hz monitor

2. For the fans, put your radiator as exhaust in the front

3. The 2 included fans in the case, put those on the top as intake

4. Buy a rear 120mm fan also as intake

Ok, thanks. I'll make sure I do that, but what about the fans that I bought, should I use those as radiator fans?
