GTX 1080 Underperforming

My GTX 1080 runs cinebench OpenGL at 120-125 fps. I checked on a Cinebench comparison site and it should be up near 160. 

 

I just built this pc yesterday, did I install it incorrectly or something? Did I put it in the wrong slot? It is currently in the PCIE4 slot, however there is a PCIEX16 slot above it I could move it to. I also searched up earlier it could possibly be bottlenecking? But is that even supposed to happen with benchmark programs?

 

Edit: I get 110 FPS average in rocket league, which I should be getting around 200. My friend has a very similar setup except a 1070 instead of a 1080 and he greatly outperforms me.

 

My relevant specs:

Asus GeForce 1080 Turbo, Gigabyte B-250 Motherboard, Intel Core i7-7700k

Why are you even using the bottom slot?
