Are these compatible or not?

So I've gotten a new Z370-H GAMING motherboard, along with a few new parts.... including 2x8GB sticks of 2666MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX Memory. Lo and behold, my setup doesn't work, and although I checked before I bought the parts for compatibility, ASUS support said it won't work with the board. SO are they right or not? I want to make sure before I send the RAM back.

Here's my whole setup if anyone has any questions about that.

Asus support are full of crap. When you say 'doesn't work,' what exactly is happening?

The power LED on my board stays a steady yellow, but literally nothing else happens. I double and triple checked my connections. Also no error lights are turning on.

Did you buy a dual channel kit or two separate sticks of RAM?

Reset the CMOS and try to boot again.

They are two seperate sticks of ram, wasn't a kit. And what's the CMOS?

 

EDIT: Nevermind, I figured the CMOS part out. Still can't figure out what the issue is.

Bump because still not working. Should I send the motherboard back for an RMA?
