If I upgrade from a 1600 to the 1800x will the Spire be good enough for stock speeds until I get an aftermarket cooler?

Get 1700 or 1700x and oc better value

Yeah it will be fine, I wouldn't spring for the 1800x though, honestly a 1700 or 1700x (What I rock) really are better values.
