I donno, 2.60/day isn't exactly making out like a bandit... I mean Zclassic is pulling a full dollar more per day with the RX480 at 290Sol/s (granted that's 2.41sol/w, which is atrociously inefficient) than Etherium, and that's Equihash algo not Ethash. I think at that point, you're hedging heavily on an appreciation of value over time...

I haven't yet looked into other cryptos but it seems like you can mine monero on a CPU alright, I might put my 8T Xeon to use....

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

My 105W 28MH/s RX 480 Gaming X would like to differ.

You can undervolt the shit out of Polaris and keep the same hashrate as stock clocks.

That also does not show PCIE riser draw, so tack on another 20-30w ontop of that.

But yes the RX cards are extremely killer miners with MOST alt coins, about the only thing i've really seen better than rx cards is nvidia at neoscrypt coins.

I'm not sure whether that number's accurate, but I do know that with the monitors off I'm reading 190-200W on a Kill-A-Watt on the wall, with a Bronze PSU1. I do agree that AMD cards are stupid good at altcoin mining, in fact that might just drive AMD through these hard times.

1 So around 85% efficiency, more like 170W for the whole system.
