450W Enough?

I wanted to picked up an EVGA B3 450W 80+ Bronze Modular PSU for my brothers christmas build. These are his specs so far.  I wanted to know if 450W's would be enough for the build. 

 

AMD Ryzen 1500x 

Corsair Vengance LPX 8GB 

MSI B350 Mate

Corsair H75 Liquid Cooler 

1TB Barracuda HDD

Asus ROG Strix GTX 1060 OC 

Corsair LL120 Fans (x3)

Corsair Lighting Node Pro

Yes, that's enough wattage, but that PSU is a bit of a fire hazard. The CX450M is a better option

Its OK, just keep an eye on power consumption because PSU failed OPP.

 

450W is more than enough, though there are (way) better PSU on the market than that.

If possible, spend a bit more, for example a Bitfenix Whisper M or Formula.

No, its not.

 

Firehazzard != PSU failed OPP.

That are two completely different things.

And why I always say that protections are important and the most important thing a PSU has to offer.

No, its not.

Yes, it is.

At least it has DC-DC and that is the minimum you want these days.
