Need recommendations on a good HDD for data server

I am a bit disappointed with HGST esp the 7k6000 line. Had a 6TB HGST and it just disappeared under windows 10 and when became RAW. Cant access files. I used recovery software and used testdisk and it seems dead already. I also have the helium series of HGST (He10) and WD gold so far so good. I am now looking for hard drives on the net and found the seagate exos 7E8 8TB 256mb cache SATA drive for les than 250.00 USD. It really looks like a good deal but I cant find reviews about it. Should I give this a try or stick to HGST helium series and WD gold series? Any inputs on this Seagate EXOS drives? I am expanding my data server. TIA

go to backblazes website and search for their quarterly drive statistics =)

That's where I get my input on that.

I based my purchase last year of 10 HGST drives due to backblaze sum up of drives that had the lowest failure rates. I guess I got unlucky for one HGST drive that failed on me. I am trying to look for a review and input on the seagate exos series but I cant see any input on those drives. Backblaze doesnt mention them.

If you look at IJustine latest video. Linus installed a server at her house.  At around 10 mi he talks about the drives

https://www.youtube.com/ijustine

What he is installing is Seagate -- Iron Wolf Pro

https://www.seagate.com/internal-hard-drives/hdd/ironwolf/

This is just for information. I have not used these drive.
