Laptop Caddy Bays

I got one for my laptop.  I don't notice any difference in hard drive speed, it's the same SATA II.  It'll be faster than external USB for sure.

Ok so i was thinking of getting a Caddy bay to get a 2nd HDD and was wondering if anybody has used one of them and what speeds do you get from them do you get the full speed of the HDD or slower ? i dont want to get it if it will be slower then i would rather get External but if its same then i would rather get the caddy bay :)

Something to take note of, I got a caddy for my hp, after I put the laptop into sleep mode my second drive won't be seen by Win8 until a restart. But after that it's fine.

thanks hoop it will not be the same with me :) will first test with a smal 160GB i habe here and if works will buy other HDD
