How do you ground yourself?

I am going to build a new pc soon and i want to know how do you ground yourself and how do you know if a piece of metal is grounded?

You can touch your case (if it's metal) to ground yourself

You really don't need to tbh, well assuming you don't build PC on a carpet with socks on, the only time I've seen someone fry a component was that situation (and it was a ram stick without a guard/heatsink on it so it had exposed chips) but any large metal object would do
