Can Anyone Help?

So I know this isn't PC hardware related, but I need some assistance... My LG G6 that I recently bought brand new has never been exposed to any sort of moisture, but as of recent I have been getting the common problem where it says "moisture detected in the USB port, charging blocked" and it will NOT charge.  I've tried everything from washing the port with rubbing alcohol, to compressed air, and a new charger, and nothing works, even went into developer options and tried changing the function of the port back and fourth to see if that fixed it, and also cleared the cache of the app that was giving me the warning "LG system server". I wanna know, is there any possible ways to disable the sensor within the software of the phone, or maybe an app to do it for me?

Honestly id send that back to LG, that sounds more like a hardware problem that shouldn't be happening. Contact LG and see what they can do for you

I already tried, the moment they heard "moisture" they immediately assumed I dropped it in water and thats not covered by the warrantee

Can you still return it to your carrier/seller?

I didn't buy it with a service plan, I paid full price for the phone alone

So return it to the seller and don't mention the port thing   

 

Then buy it at a different store again
