Hey guys,

I have been thinking of upgrading my fans in my PC. I just have stock case/cooler fans as of now. I was hoping to possibly get better temperatures by getting new fans as well. I've included an image of my current fan setup, which is hopefully an alright setup. I want to maximize cooling and noise level as of now is not too bad, so not as big of an issue, though I don't want it much louder. I currently have all my fans hooked up to the included fan hub that came with the case.

Fans I'd be replacing:

- x2 Kraken x61 140mm Top Exhaust

- x1 140mm Top Exhaust

- x2 120mm 980Ti Hybrid Back Exhaust/Bottom Intake

I'm not sure which fans to go with or if I should even replace the fans I have now, so I was looking for recommendations on what you guys thought. Or if I should also consider a push-pull?

The only fan I've been looking at so far is this one to replace the 140mm and this one to replace the 120mm.

Other fans I've considered are the Corsair ML and LL Series.

I look forward to any recommendations and input!

Thank you!

**Case is Phanteks Enthoo Luxe

The noctua fans are a very good option and you will likely notice an improvement in noise and temperatures. The corsair ML fans are also very good performers. If you have the money to do so and no where else to spend it on your build (doesn't look like you do) I'd recommend upgrading all the fans

Thank you for the reply! Would you recommend the Noctua over the Corsair ML? If so, are the Noctua fans I posted, would those be good ones to go with?

Last, would you recommend a push-pull or should does it not make that big of a difference?

Thank you TSL!

Noctua fans are the best fans you can buy. Although corsairs fans are basically the next best thing and sometimes are better depending if you are noise oriented or performance and they look better (although the new chromax fans from noctua look pretty darn fine too). Heres a review of the ML fans which show comparison charts against some other fans: http://thermalbench.com/2016/07/29/corsair-ml140-pro-140-mm-fan/3/ (with regards to 120mm fans, i still think noctua has the best ones). For push pull vs push or pull, if i remember correctly it makes a very small difference but the law of diminishing returns applies - you pay double for like 10-20% more performance at that. Check out this old but still relevant video regarding the topic to help you decide:

I think you could just about choose between the corsair and noctua fans based on aesthetics and/or which ever is cheapest at the time

Hopefully this all helps! :)
