I made earlier posts on Reddit and this forum asking for help on my new build and have gotten lots passionate people to help. While I was finally able to get past the previous major problem, I am immediately faced with a new one: I can't access my old OS, namely windows 7. The biggest problem so far right now is that I cannot use any mouse or keyboard despite them working very well in the BIOS. This all starts the moment I select the self diagnostics and repair by windows 7, then it asks me for an input device of which there is none detected. Do I have to shell out more money for a windows 10 so that my Ryzen PC will work? Or buy some rare ps/2 mouse and keyboard of which there is only one input on the Motherboard? Even if I did have a windows 10 at hand, how would I install any drivers without input devices? Would windows 10 just do it automatically? Since I have windows 7 in the HDD, how can I specifically tell my computer to boot up windows 10? Sign...hard to advocate for pcmasterrace right now...

If you changed your motherboard (which you probably did when upgrading to ryzen) you need to clean install windows for it to work correctly.

Not yet.... There are some accessibility things you can tweak around, so long as it's before Dec 31, since MS is removing workarounds then.

Win10 automatically installs drivers

And yes, you need windows 10 for ryzen.

Want to know which mobo to get?

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.
