Pc not connecting after new GPU

Hi,

I just replaced my old GT 210 with a GTX 770, and my PC is no longer connecting to my monitor. I tried 2 monitors, neither worked. Could it be that my PSU isn't strong enough to handle the 770?

Specs:

CPU: FX-6100, stock cooler

Mobo: 760GM P23 FX

RAM: 8gb @ 666mhz

PSU: 430W

430w is the bare minimum you should have for that. Realistically you need more than that but it should be able to boot with 430W so make sure all your connection are snug.

Should they have been included with the GPU?

Yeah your PSU does not have the connections you need to run your GPU. You will need to get a new one.

Don't cheap out too much on a psu, last thing you need is your power supply frying the rest of your system... won't be too cheap then. I'm not too sure what's all available for you over there in the netherlands.

Do you know if the Xilence XN052 500W would be sufficient? It has a 6+2 PCI-E connection, or that's what it says, I'm still learning these things
