https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mrwYyf

I am new to building a pc and dont know much thing. Please see if these parts are compatible with each other. Also i will be running this at a 1080p monitor. I care about the look and i dont want wires tangled all over the place when i built it. I am planning to use this pc mainly for gaming and personal use for documents.

what is the maximum budget of the PC?

so i believed you have the monitor and keyboard and mouse

why are you using the i5 6600K?

the GPU you picked is not powerful for 1080P High details gaming

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

CPU: since you're already getting a Z270 motherboard, which is for Kaby Lake CPUs, I suggest you also get a Kaby Lake CPU (either a 7600K or a 7700K). From PCPP pricing the 7600K is even cheaper than the 6600K

PSU: Looking at ONLY the PSU Tier List, the PSU you got is Tier 4. IIRC, Tier 1 up to Tier 3 is recommended if you're going to be overclocking.

See this thread:

GPU: what games will you be playing? a 1050Ti isn't exacty a balanced pick against a 7700K. But if this is just a temp card which you plan to replace later, carry on. Otherwise I would recommend something along the lines of a GTX1060 or an RX580 for 1080p 60FPS gaming.

this or what @herman mcpootis posted, this will perform better but is abother $80

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Thank you for the guide.

If the 7600k or 7700k is the same price but better performance than 6600k then i change my cpu.

And yes i know 1050 ti is not that good, i plan on replacing it. Its just there to fill the gap.

Hello, there! And thanks for giving me a build idea. But the reason i picked most of the parts is that i lived in Norway and some of the parts that can be bought in America is not available here.

But i will try if those parts are available here.
