Graphics card question

Hi guys I’m now to the forum but I’d like to ask a question.

 

i play a game called eve online and I play 2 characters 1 per monitor since I have 2 monitors, I am having issues with this as when I’m playing on 1 monitor and not the other I get 40 FPS but if I use 2 characters 1 per monitor my FPS halves on the monitor I’m currently controlling and only 4 or 5 FPS on the other. So my question is could I use 2 different graphics cards 1 per monitor at the same time non sli? Eg: a gtx 260 and a gt 720

 

any help and advice is greatly appreciated

Which graphics card do you have now?

is there an option in eve online that selects which monitor it runs on? if yes then it might work. do you have the cards already? if yes just try it out.

Already have the cards I listed in the example and eve online let’s you select which monitor each client runs on so I’ll try it at the weekend. Which is the better card out of the 2 I listed in the example? Currently got the gt 720 install d got the gtx 260 of a coworker yesterday with a amd radion eah 6670 for £20
