Hello,

The Antimalware Service Executable was taking up a lot of CPU, memory and disk usage so then I went on YouTube for help. I went to time scheduler and disabled all the things in windows defender in the conditions tab like a bunch of people on YouTube said. It fixed my CPU and disk usage but my memory was still taken up. I even tried to disable windows defender and I could not. Please help.

Thanks,

Dylan

Do you have any other anti virus software installed? Also, I don't think Windows Defender can be disabled on Win10 Home, so if you don't have Pro, you're likely SOL.

Then why do you want Defender disabled? It's the only thing protecting you from malware. Might as well install some antimalware solution like Avira, Avast, 360TS, Bitdefender etc.

The “AntiMalware Service Executable” process plays an important part as a Windows Defender’s background process. If you are looking solution to high cpu usage then you can check at the below site.
