EVGA 1080 SC Coil whine

I have a EVGA 1080 SC it has very loud coil whine. I didn't even know that was a thing until I got it. My 1060 didn't have any coil whine under load, should I be worried?

Just keeping this here as a Coil whine is just annoying, not worrisome. I would suggest limiting FPS if you don't have a high-refresh monitor and don't already (I limit mine to ~75 for a 60hz monitor), it tends to help quite a lot. I got crazy coil whine on my 970 in minecraft and a couple other games I get very high FPS on if I don't limit the fps

Cant say Ive ever heard it from any card. Guess it depends on the hertz it puts off as I'm deaf at anything above 5500.

 

Could try pushing my sc again and see what it does, prefer my NVidia version, oc's much better.
