Thankfully you still get a month to use the "go back to Windows xx" option should you not get on with W10. W10 has come a long long way, and despite recent issues it should be trouble free. Always backup your data before doing anything like this.

Probably gaming or helping technophobes with tech...

If you're not sure, make a back-up of your important data. It's a good idea to back-up regularly anyway. You only make that mistake once.
