computer stuck on startup after update

I restarted my windows 10 computer, (this computer has a particularly slow hard drive) and forgot that it was updating and somehow accidentally unplugged it while it was booting back up, once I turned it back on it went as normal until it went to the windows logo with the loading "circle thing". it has been on that screen for four hours. is there some way I can fix this?

Please don't argue with me, I am just trying to help, or be helped. (we are all humans right?)
