awful optimization

Im trying to get the most fps possible out of my Ryzen 1700X and GTX 1070 when it comes to playing PUBG, but the optimization is so horrid that i cant get very good framerates. Any suggestions on how to raise the frames? For the record, everything is at Very Low.

You shouldn't be getting low FPS. I can easily hit above 30 on medium with my shitbox (check my signature for specs, this is at 1080P).

UE4 doesn't really play ball with AMD. Hope they drop the engine after PUBG, it's shit.

Ok, so...what kind of frame rates are you getting? Telling us you "aren't getting very good FPS" doesn't really paint much of a picture.

30s-40s when in high action zones, sometimes dipping lower if theres a lot happening.

That's definitely unusual. There will be dips due to CPU optimization, but anything lower than 45 sounds out of place to me.

Make sure Windows power management is set to maximum performance. In NVCP, make sure your maximum pre-rendered frames is set to 1 and threaded optimization is turned on. If you're running the game in borderless or windowed, try fullscreen. If all else fails, it couldn't hurt doing a reinstall or clean install of your chipset and video drivers.

Ue4 optimization with AMD isn't a problem.

if you haven't played the Test Servers yet there is quite a dramatic improve in performance with the new map as well, I am getting 70-130 fps majority of the time (check specs on profile) but seems like their main focus right now is to sort out Xbox and it's horrific servers.
