Do I need SQL Server?

I installed it for some Accounting classes I took years ago, but I can't remember if it was installed prior to that.
Do I need SQL Server software installed on my laptop, or can I delete it?

Sql isnt important for day to day regular windows use so you can safely delete it, or leave it just in case you ever need it again.

The way Microsoft RMS works is if the SQL server becomes unavailable, the whole system goes down.
