So, I have determined that my system won't POST because the RAM isn't compatible with my system. The mobo is an MSI B350m Gaming Pro, and the CPU is a Ryzen 3 1300x. Any suggestions for RAM? I'm really new to the PC world, and it seems like every RAM I google search from MSI's compatibility list either costs a fortune or I can't find. Help pls.

I doubt the RAM is incompatible. You probably forgot to connect some cable somewhere.
