Restart Problems

My PC has an issue where, when I restart it (with or without Windows updates) It will shut down fine, then load up the bios and then start loading windows. Two or three turns of the windows 10 loading circle later. My entire system freezes. I then have to turn it off and on again with the power button. What might be the cause?

are you dual booting? 

 

This may be a problem with the drivers or in rare cases the MBR. 

I would recommend next time you successfully enter windows updating drivers for the GPU, CPU, mouse, keyboard, and audio devices. You should also check that you have no faulty USB devices connected to your PC. If neither of these fixes the problem you can try resting the MBR. To do this follow the instructions here.

I updated all of my driver's with device manager and the problem persisted. I am now fixing the mbr
