So I have a hp dv7 pavilion laptop, recently my battery had died so I ordered a new one from amazon, it worked great until the screen went blank an hour later, since then I have not been able to get past a blank screen, you can still hear the windows welcome screen, I removed the battery and held the power button for 30-60 seconds, I have used just the charger chord without battery, I have opened the laptop and removed the bios battery, reset the ram, done almost everyone but right now  I am at a lost, if anyone can help that would be awesome, I need the laptop up and running soon, Thank you!

Was the battery a super cheap knockoff? Have you made any hardware/software changes other than that?

Can you plug it into a tv or monitor with HDMI and verify that works?  This could let you into the bios to check that and into device manager check the drivers for the monitor.

I did plug it into my monitor to see if there is an issue and that wasnt posting either
