Need Help with first time build

I'm looking for a decent gaming machine around $1200. This build is based on a build I saw on LTT but I changed some things to fit my budget. I'm mostly interested in whether 8gb of ram is enough and if $200 monitor is worth it. Just looking for some feedback because I've never built a pc before. Thanks

It looks good to me. 8GB is perfectly fine for everyday uses.

very decent.

only suggestion i might have, is faster ram.   ryzen really likes fast ram.  if you can push the budget a little to get 3000MHz, the i would. otherwise you're good
