Hello so yesterday I realized my cpu socket pins where bent. I feel like I've done my best to fix it and I'm ready to boot it, but I want to know what I need to plug in to know that the pc works fine. I realize after I will have to reapply thermal compound etc... But right now I just want to do the bare minimum.Would it be fine to boot with not HDD or SSD or heatsink?

CPU - i7-4790k

GPU - MSI 980 Ti

Mobo - MSI Z97 Gaming 5

Memory - 32 GB DDR3

Storage - 3.4 TB

HDD should be plugged in , and heat sink can be reapplied but you will want to do it fast, like make sure it works then turn off and put it on, I'd recommend putting stock ( if you still have it ) but if not well fuck it you but fyi if it does work pulling it out of your case is going to be a bitch.

You should be able to boot into BIOS without SSD or HDD but heatsink is a must.
