Digital Storm VANQUISH

Hi! Thanks for checking out my post, my name is Noah, I'm 14, and I am going to be buying myself a gaming computer for myself as a "self Christmas present." I don't know about computers as much as Linus but I know a fair amount. I have been getting into technology for the past about year or so. I'm upgrading from a hammy down laptop to a nice beginner gaming PC. I have been looking at and doing my research on gaming PC's and decided to save up and buy one for myself, but before I pick one out I want to make sure that I'm making the right choice. I would build one, but I decided to wait until I get more familiar with computers and their parts and learn more on the topic. So my decision is to buy a pre-built instead. I landed on Digital Storm's Vanquish, their short description of it is, "For gamers, without breaking the bank." I would like a PC that I can upgrade and maintain over time as I grow more in depth with computers and how they work. They have 4 different levels of it, good, better, best, and ultimate. I am going to get the better of the 4 (not the actual better of the 4, but the level "better") costing $800 not including tax. Let me know if this is a good deal for a gaming PC for a beginner of the sorts like me. Thanks for reading, and have a good day :D.

Here are the specs:

- NVIDIA GTX 650 Ti BOOST 2GB

- Intel Core i3 4330 CPU
- 8GB 1600MHz Memory
- 1TB 7200RPM HDD
- ASUS H81 Chipset Motherboard
- 430W Corsair CX Power Supply
- DVD-R/RW/CD-R/RW
- Microsoft Windows 7

(Here's the link so you can check out the specs on the other 3 levels

(The one i'm getting has i3 not i5. Don't let the picture fool you. Bad picture. Bad.)

Silly child, digital storm is for kids!

Go with www.cyberpowerpc.com

You can get any pc on digital storm for hundreds of dollars less on it, don't get ripped, go for cyberpowerpc and get the same thing or better for less money! ;)

As others are gonna say, building the pc is so fun! There's so many guides out there now you can know absolutely nothing and still build one!

Half the fun is waiting for the parts to come and the other half is building the actual computer.

Price?

800 dollars....

You can do much better for that price. Is there any way you can build it yourself or even let a PC-shop or something do it for you?

$800 for an I3 system, wut! Just build one yourself, that's the best way to spend $800 on a PC, most of the guys on the forum will agree...

I don't think I can convince anyone or anything as that would be advertising which is against the rules.

However, @cravinpineapple our Vanquish line is our best bang for buck and is built only with the best parts (Corsair, ASUS, EVGA)

this is good but notice the one he is buying comes with win7... win7 home premium is around $200 so unless you are saying he should be a pirate then you are gonna have to make it $600 not $800
