Sony MDRXB950BT/B audio problems with skype and discord

when i use my new wireless headphones for games and browsers i have no issue with it. when i use it for Skype or discord there are some problems. in both programs there are 2 options for audio https://gyazo.com/b23be2784da7027a00e8a22e9e3f3a51 and for headphones MDR-XB950BT/B hands-free it sounds terrible which the  headphones MDR-XB950BT/B stereo sound fine. for discord its automatically set to the hands-free setting then i have to wait a little bit until the stereo setting pops up. with Skype i get both options instantly but i cant hear anything with the stereo setting and the hands-free setting sounds really bad. when i Skype someone too it makes all other audio sound terrible. i don't know what to do i tried to update Skype and i cant find anything on this problem any suggestions?
