Horrible keyboard delay help

I was playing a game (keyboard was working fine). Left my computer on and came back in an hour. My keyboard wasnt working. I discovered that it would work if i held the key press would register after holding down the key after about to seconds. I restarted my computer and it worked fine for about 20 minutes. The it started again. I have a black widow 2013. I should also note that a lot of times my usb ports just stop working. This has happened with my previous motherboard and my new one.

It could be the keyboard is getting ready to kick the bucket. If your mouse is staying on try switching the ports between the tow and see if the mouse also has the same problem and if the problem goes away from the keyboard.
