Crash while gaming causes weird pixelation

Hi, recently (less than 3 months ago) I built this pc and already I've gotten this crash about three times. It seems to happen only while gaming and only on games that stress the gpu a bit, like Witcher 3, PUBG, and Overwatch (80% of the time I play league and it has never happened at those times). I'm not constantly monitoring the temps but I know that at peak the GPU has reached about 80C, although it mostly stays at 70ish, and cpu doesn't go past low 60's. The crash sometimes makes the screen go black after a while and requires a manual restart and sometimes it just puts me back at the windows 10 home screen.  

 

I'm running windows 10 64 bit

i7 8700k

MSI Z370 SLI plus

and a 240 AIO liquid cooler
