I purchased an MSI Z270 PC Mate motherboard off Ebay recently and found out that it didn't come with any accessories. Obviously the manual, drivers, SATA cables are easily replaced/downloaded, but where do I find an I/O shield? I tried contacted MSI but they said they didn't have any available because they are given to the sellers for warranties. I tried searching on Ebay but could not find the correct I/O shield. There are so many! but they all have different cutouts and spacing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

When this happened to me I just found one that looked right and then forced the cables through the wrong shaped holes into the port. The only two that where wrong for me was the HDMI connector and a PS/2 port. The only way to get a proper one with out resorting to brute force it to trawl eBay or contact a local computer shop. My advice would be not to stress about it and just continue with out it, its not vital, and then keep looking on eBay until you find one.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

It couldn't hurt to forward that MSI comment to places like Newegg, Amazon, and some of the others asking if they have one. Offer to pay if necessary.
