Hi all

I play games at 1080p 144hz and currently have a GTX 1070.

I am looking to upgrade to a i5 8600k and want to know what the best value-performance motherboard to buy is? Also what cooler would get me really good results, I was looking at a H100i?

Also do you think it might be worth waiting for the next Intel line? I see that coffee lake was a big jump but not sure if I should wait.

Thanks!

Anything from Asus or MSI will do you fine, doesn't really matter which, that's personal choice. Just avoid Gigabyte.

It depends on what you want to do.

1) Do you want to go with an AIO liquid cooler?

or

2) Do you want a big beefy air cooler?
