So this Christmas, one of the things I might get is an aftermarket cooler for my loud-ass GPU. The problem is, I don't know which one to get. I've mostly looked at Arctic's Twin Turbo and whatever the triple fan one is called. I'd rather not go liquid cooling since it seems to be super expensive. One big concern is that my 6 pin is on the back of the GPU, not the top. Will that be a problem? I'm spending 150 CAD ABSOLUTE MAX. I'd rather stay under $100. It has to fit in an S340, unless you have a better ATX mid-tower suggestion. Thanks!

Fre people will recommend this, but I currently own the phantecs TC14pe and benchmarks show that CPU cooler to do almost as well as the noctua NH-d15. I think you can get it for under 150 CAD.

No, GPU cooler. Not CPU. But I do need a CPU cooler as well, what could I get for under $50 that fits LGA 1366?

Your PCs specs below say you have an i5-750. An LGA 1366 CPU cooler will not fit on that CPU socket.

Check my recent status updates.

EDIT: And I still need a GPU cooler.

Do you still have the R7 370? One thing i've done for loud GPUs is

1. Blow the dust out

2. set the GPU back to stock speed so the fans run slower

3. Configure a custom fan profle in MSI afterburner so the fan never ramps up to full speed. The GPU basically runs in the 90s most of the time but hey, it's quiet.

I've cleaned it, replaced the thermal paste, changed the fan curve, nothing works.

It seems to work fine regardless of which side the power pins are located on:

But my question is, should I get this one? Or is there a better alternative?

I would definitely get an arctic extreme 4.

For the cpu a cryorig H7 is a great option, for something a little nore high end the NH-D15 is always available in Canada.  Less easy to find here are the scythe fuma, DRP3 and TC14PE but all are good options.

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

Not really - prolimiatech, thermalright and ereboss stopped making thier gpu coolers years ago.
