Coworker bought one, I can't answer the first question, it felt pretty solid, can't answer the second, synapse only needs to be installed to configure the mouse (you may not even need to do that) once the mouse is configured the profile is saved on board so synapse can be removed.

Synapse 2.0 is no longer shit because it now works without requiring connection to the internet to access a cloud server, so props to Razer for sorting that out. Can't really comment on the mouse as i'm using a Deathadder Black rather than the 2013. Different Sensors

All mice can have mouse acceleration, it's just a setting within windows :P

No it isn't, that's just software acceleration. Most sensors have varying degrees of acceleration that can't be avoided, exceptions being the phillips twin-eye laser sensor (which has it's own issues) and newer Avago optical sensors (the A3090/3095 as well as the ones Razer have put in their 3G, 3.5G and 4G DAs).

I have heard from a pro gamer that it doesn't have acceleration. Personally i dont game much so i can't tell the different.

Synapse: the installation, the update process is absolutely fucked up, especially with low internet speed. First it will download and update synapse -> restart your computer. Then it will download and update firmware of DA 2013, restart again. Why doesnt it just update all the things 1 time? I dont know.

But after you get through it, once synapse is up and running, it is the best driver software for mouse that i have ever known. I have tried MS mouses, Sharkoon mouse, Logitech mouses, old DA driver, nothing come close to what synapse offer. Link a program to a specific profile, map sen up, sen down for any keys, and no delay at all when you click apply like some different mouse drivers out there.

Build quality is better than before, come close to the DA black.
