New/Upgrading Pc , any tips and recommendation ?

Hello people ! , i am currently upgrading my computer , i already own the SSD, HDD, GPU, CPU, PSU and the Case ! I need some ram and a mobo

I plan on having the "opportunity" to overclock later on if system start to struggle on new game.

Is the mobo worth it ? And ATM the ram is 50$ off so that why i choosed those one.

and also another question , is the ram compatible with the mobo ?

I mean the hardware. With Ryzen and 7th gen or later you can only use Win 10 btw

I want one that excludes what you plan on buying. I mean, there must be an old, but complete PC right? Or you dont have anything?

A crappy DDr3 mobo , with 8g ddr3 , i just need a new mobo and ram + cpucooler i already have a LGA1151 cpu in the box

Then, the good news is that lightly used Z170 (need BIOS update) and Z270 mobo (many with warranty) are in excess in the used market so do look for those.

 

The bad news is that the 7700k is far worse than the current flagship i7 and worse than the mid-tier i5. Unless you got it for like $150 or less, you got ripped off.

 

CPU air cooler is the part that lasts longer than any others, so do get a good one like an NH-D15, Dark Rock Pro 3 or Cryorig R1.

 

High frequency RAM of multiple sticks that add up to 16GB is the best for a gaming setup. Usually 2800-3000MHz ones are good enough.

There's no listing of price for the RAM, so it's good if you can buy one at that price.

 

As for mobo, yes, if you want the new stuff and dont mind spending more for that.
