Xmp bug on z170 ?

Just switch it on, f12 and save and exit... then let it restart, and go into OS. Check there whether it has enabled. If not go back into BIOS/UEFI and go to settings and change the XMP profile/speed IIRC, been a while since I've used MSI now, I really don't like their way of doing things.

Yeah the bios on this thing is really bad, I'll see if MSI have any solutions

I would check for you on my z97 MSI board I have but I don't have a cpu or psu to use at the moment. Sorry I couldn't help.
