Hello, 
I want to buy a new ssd for my pc, because I have pretty damn slow ssd right now and I want better. So I´m looking for Samsung SSD 960 EVO (M.2) and my question is about, if I fix that SSD into my MB-ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VIII HERO ALPHA - Intel Z170 without any problem.

I may be wrong but it looks like you dont have an m.2 on your board, you could always go with a 800 series ssd from samsung and just connect that through a sata slot.

id be surprised if it doesn't, I'm saying this before I research it for fact. I mean I would genuinely be surprised if a RoG board based on Z170 didn't have it

I just find this : 1 x M.2 Socket 3 for M Key, type 2242,2260,2280,2210 storage devices support (Supports both SATA & PCIE 3.0 mode) , but still i dont know compatibility with that ssd.

basically a board is made to support the varying m.2 SSD's some have more pins than others or are shorter/longer, youre good to go, the ranger 7 even supported m.2 (albeit at lower speeds due to lack of PCIE lanes)

So I will get lower speed than others users on my MB?

no, z170 is PCIE 3.0x 4, the Z97 was PCIE 2.0 x4, you are good to go
