Opinions on EK-MLC Phoenix AIO?

iiNNeX

So EK has come out with a new AIO again. Their last series, the Predator range, wasn't too successfull with the amount of leaks and noisy pump problems. So assuming this one is good I have a few questions.

1. How big of a case do I really need for the 360mm one found here: https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-mlc-phoenix-360-radiator-core-module

- Dimensions: 415 x 133 x 68mm (L x W x H)

A 360mm radiator (PE series as an example) is 400 x 130 x 38mm (L x W x H), so I guess we are adding another 15mm of lenght for the pump and res the AIO would have, and quite a bit more thickness. So will a case that allows "up to 360mm" radiator fitment, actually allow this in? I remember the Predator had fitment issues as it was bigger than the usual AIOs, so a lot of cases didn't work. For example The Dark Base 700 is quite nice and I am considering it for this AIO: https://www.bequiet.com/en/case/1203

2. Is it better to go for one of these or their A series gaming kits: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ek-water-blocks-a240-fluid-gaming-bundle-red-bu-00m-ek.html

3. Or do I scrap the above and go for a P360? https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-kit-p360

Ideas welcome :)

The modularity is nice but it still require maintenance from my understanding as a custom loop needed fluid changes and cleaning if something occurs to cause clogging. If you like the process of building a loop and work involved I would recommend the P series kits and add in a GPU block as need.

The fluid gaming series is a good budget option right in between a copper based custom loop and an AIO, just note everything is aluminum and must be aluminum to work within that loop.
