Best Ultrawide Gaming Monitors

So i've been really intrigued in wanting to get an ULTRAWIDE Monitor for my PC setup.  I've been looking at quite a few options.

Asus PG348Q

  • In-Plane Switching (IPS) Technology
  • HDMI + DisplayPort Inputs
  • 3440 x 1440 Resolution
  • 1000:1 Static Contrast Ratio
  • 300 cd/m² Brightness
  • 178°/178° Viewing Angles
  • 5 ms Response Time
  • 1.07 Billion Colors
  • Built-In USB 3.0 Hub

Acer Predator  x34

  • DisplayPort + HDMI Inputs
  • 3440 x 1440 Resolution
  • 100,000,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio
  • 300 cd/m²
  • 178°/178° Viewing Angles
  • 4 ms Response Time
  • 1.07 Billion Colors
  • Integrated Speakers
  • G-Sync Technology

Alienwware AW3418DW

  • Adaptive-Sync Technology
  • NVIDIA G-SYNC
  • Features
  • USB 3.0 hub
  • Panel Type
  • IPS
  • Aspect Ratio
  • Widescreen - 21:9
  • Native Resolution
  • WQHD 3440 x 1440 at 120 Hz
  • Pixel Pitch
  • 0.2325 mm
  • Brightness
  • 300 cd/m²
  • Contrast Ratio
  • 1000:1
  • Response Time
  • 4 ms (gray-to-gray)

So all of there are within only a few hundred bucks each. Also all of these are IPS  and all have G-sync.  Can anyone give me some ideas of which would be best to look at or?

Thanks

welcome to the forum ;)

got the alienware after release and its great, playing escape from tarkov, witcher3, rocketleague, doom and some racing games

easy menu handling with buttons,  OC to 120hz option in menu, 4 RGB "zones" if you´re into that

loved the "clean" aesthetic

might go for a desk-mount and get rid of the giant feet ( with cablemanagement holes ) is a problem if you got a small desk, mine is 1,80m x 0,80m

lucky that i got 0 backlightbleed

Acer and Asus do a great job too, i wanted the acer x34P since i saw them on the ces videos but i dislike acer for not producing/selling after that

IMO all 3 are almost the same and you should choose the one which aesthetics you like the most

you´ll also need a beefy GPU, my 980ti was able to get ~60fps on most titles and the 1080ti rocks solid 100-120+
