I have the Inspiron 5675 with the R5 1400 and RX580 8GB. I am a noob at overclocking and because it's an OEM system, the BIOS is locked down tight. My only option for overlocking is (unfortunately) Ryzen Master. I wanted to do a quick, no frills OC.

I can get a stable OC at 3.7 without needing to mess with voltage. No issues. No overheating. I know I can go further but as I stated, I just wanted something quick and simple.  However despite saving and applying it, no matter what it defaults back to base after a reboot. I have disabled Fast Boot, updated BIOS, updated chipset drivers, and reinstalled RM. Nothing. It only works when applied after a power cycle.

Any tips or suggestions?

I've read multiple posts about the success with the Dell stock MOBO and Ryzen Master on the 1700X but nothing on the 1400 besides a couple YouTube videos. One thing I've noticed is that it never prompts me to restart after applying a change. I find that odd.

Can you change the text colour, font and size back to normal please? Don't fancy straining my eyes trying to read the post lol.

Managed to read it(that's not the point though)

With Ryzen Master you have to open it after every boot for the OC to be "re-applied", so to speak.

Odd. I never changed it originally.

Did you copy and paste it from somewhere else? That's normally what does it, as it'll keep the formatting from when it was copied unless you remove it :P

Hmm.... I know of specific examples of friends using it to OC (too scared to do it in the BIOS) and it requested a restart and the settings stuck even after reboots.

Yes that is normal Ryzen master will always do that with a lot of OEMs you can't OC the CPU at all so if anything Amd is doing us a service with Ryzen Master.

Just create a profile to use whenever you want to use your PC hard little annoying but not the end of the world
